So, I am going to try this again. I haven't written here since I graduated from Nursing School, and excuses and children's needs aside, I'm going to have a go.
Let's see, what's new...
Well, Kaitlyn welcomed her little brother Alexander on October 12, 2009 and then proceeded to turn 2 on the 30th. She is such a big girl and has a very large vocabulary. She's constantly amazing me! Every day she comes up with something new to teach me about myself and about her. She loves to sing and her current favorite song is "Snow" from White Christmas. It is hilarious to hear her sing it. She is still as petite as can be but has a ton of spunk and energy to make up for her stature (and she's not afraid to climb up most anything). She loves to help out with her brother and is always asking if we can change his diaper. Right at this moment she is feeding her Elmo and trying to make pizza all at the same time. The joys of time management! She's my little mama!
Alexander is growing like a weed and laughed for the first time last week! He's been smiling for awhile now and his eyes light up when we make faces at him.
He is very long and can already sit in my lap while he's nursing. The difference between them is night and day and I love it. He is a cuddle bug and he doesn't like a pacifier, just like Kaitlyn.
Andrew has been a computer programmer for 2 years now and he loves his job. I was offered a weekend option position right out of nursing school, so I get to be a stay at home mom during the week and work on the weekends.
So there is the first of many (again) of the installments.
